Job description

Job Summary:
Pantex Plant is dedicated to safeguarding national security through unique work. The Supply Chain-Multi Function Specialist will support the creation, maintenance, and reporting of supply chain metrics, ensuring compliance and providing data insights to enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Provide data and reports to internal and external recipients.
โ€ข Support end users through the writing of queries and reports, as well as generating databases, visualizations, summaries, and explanatory analyses.
โ€ข Comply with periodic reporting requirements in support of National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Production Office, or other external authorities, and Pantex Management.
โ€ข Assist users with understanding the information provided from various systems and contexts.
โ€ข Support the creation, maintenance, and reporting of records within the vendor master.
โ€ข Analyze and monitor key performance metrics, including small business, cost savings, organizational health, and personnel performance, among others, as needed.
โ€ข Assist with other duties, as assigned, by the Compliance and Procurement organizations.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Bachelor's degree: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
โ€ข Master's degree: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
โ€ข PhD
โ€ข OR Applicants without a bachelor's degree may be considered based on a combination of at least 13 years of completed education and/or relevant experience.
โ€ข Requires a Q clearance; however all qualified candidates will be considered regardless of their current clearance status.
โ€ข The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Q clearance is required.
โ€ข Position may require entry into Materials Access Areas (MAA) and participation in the Human Reliability Program (HRP).
โ€ข If HRP is required, candidate must complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph, pursuant to 10 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 709.
โ€ข Medical requirements may apply.
โ€ข Candidates accepting a job offer will be required to pass a pre-placement physical, drug screening and background investigation.
โ€ข U.S. citizenship is a requirement for security clearance applicants.
Preferred:
โ€ข Experience in supply chain management, materials management, procurement, or computer sciences.
โ€ข Experience with PeopleSoft or Systems, Applications and Products in Data Processing (SAP).
โ€ข Highly proficient in understanding data queries and providing data in various formats.
โ€ข High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, ect.)
โ€ข Applicant must have good organizational skills, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to multi-task and to participate on projects across multiple organizations.
โ€ข Ability to manage, organize, and analyze large amounts of data using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Tableau, Power BI, or Web Intelligence.
โ€ข Good communicator and team-oriented.
โ€ข Past procurement experience and knowledge related to the acquisition of materials in support of project operations and supporting deliverables.
โ€ข Familiarity with Procurement practices.
