One of our client is looking for Technical Writer consultant in Sunnyvale, CA
Role: Technical Writer,
Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Remote)
Duration: Long Term
  • Structure, develop, and deliver - high quality, user friendly product documentation for customers
  • Write net new documentation for advanced users, including reference docs and developer guides. Emphasize technical accuracy and bring clarity for complex processes.
  • Review, edit existing product documentation with emphasis on accuracy, clarity, consistency, and overall quality
  • Review user stories written by developers and PMs for each feature and create new documentation, review existing assets and suggest changes to provide clarity for external user reference.
  • Supplement developer documentation with relevant sample code.
  • Develop and use all types of content types (workflows/process schematics / instructional videos/developer consoles) to simplify the user's understanding of the Open API's.
  • Partner with technical writers across products to produce documentation for areas of cross-product feature impact while striving for consistency in style and format.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Customer Success, and other internal teams to gather and research relevant information to enable successful documentation
  • Partner with the translation team and implement translated content into documentation.
  • Work with the infrastructure team to import projects, build, and publish content in MadCap Flare using Git and Jenkins
