Position Overview

Southcoast Health is seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Gynecologist with MSCP certification to join our Women’s Health team and specifically help lead our Southcoast Menopause and Wellness Program. This role focuses on providing expert, evidence-based care for patients navigating perimenopause, menopause, and postmenopausal health. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of hormonal changes, symptom management, and long-term wellness strategies tailored to midlife and aging women. Key Responsibilities• Help lead our Comprehensive Menopause and Wellness Program. Conduct comprehensive menopause-focused evaluations and ongoing care.

• Diagnose and manage all menopause-related conditions with the development of personalized treatment plans.

• Educate patients on menopause, aging, and preventive health strategies including bone, brain, and cardiovascular wellness.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care, including referrals to specialists as indicated.

• Stay current with menopause research, guidelines, and best practices through continuing education and professional development.

• Help promote ongoing community awareness and education with participation in seminars and provider and patient education opportunities.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.

• Board certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology.

• Current state medical license and DEA registration.

• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in gynecology, with a focus on midlife women’s health preferred.

• Demonstrated clinical excellence, patient satisfaction, and effective communication skills.

• Menopause Society Certification.
