Job Description:
Join a growing technology organization as a Senior Software Developer, where you will serve as a key technical leader responsible for frontend development, architecture, and user experience within a modern enterprise platform. This role is ideal for a senior engineer who enjoys hands-on development, mentoring junior developers, and helping shape the future of customer-facing applications. You'll work on highly visible initiatives involving cloud technologies, APIs, microservices, and modern frontend frameworks while contributing to large-scale modernization efforts and new product development initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead frontend application development and user experience initiatives across a modern cloud-based platform.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications utilizing React, Angular, JavaScript, and related frontend technologies.
  • Develop and maintain integrations, APIs, microservices, and cloud-based application components.
  • Build and customize enterprise platform functionality using Java/Gosu and modern development frameworks.
  • Participate in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and development best practice initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
  • Perform code reviews, troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning activities.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership across the development team.
  • Contribute to Agile planning, sprint execution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure applications meet security, scalability, performance, and reliability standards.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • 5+ years of software development experience with strong frontend development expertise.
  • 5+ years of Guidewire development experience preferred, with a strong focus on frontend technologies.
  • Experience with React strongly preferred; Angular experience will also be considered.
  • Strong experience with Java/Gosu development within Guidewire environments.
  • Guidewire Cloud Developer Certification required.
  • Experience with EnterpriseEngage or willingness to complete certification training.
  • Strong experience with APIs, microservices, and distributed application architectures.
  • Experience with .NET (C#, .NET Core), JavaScript, HTML5, and modern web development frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software engineering best practices.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
