These tours typically include transportation, accommodation, guided sightseeing, and sometimes meals or special experiences. Holiday tours can be domestic or international and are often tailored to different interests, such as cultural exploration, adventure, relaxation, or family fun. Job description

All communication will be via email. While we are excited to meet you, please keep our lobbies and phone lines clear for pet parents.

What do we do at Holiday Barn Pet Resorts? We get the opportunity, every day, to care for, play with, and be an integral part of the lives of thousands of Richmond's pets and their families. We also offer fun, energized playgroups for dogs to enjoy through our Doggie Day Care. Our Pet Grooming department is "paw-excellence" as we provide pets with nice sudsy baths, pedicures, stylish haircuts and anti-shedding treatments. Dogs who need some manners or are looking to get a higher education can receive the professional training services of our dog trainer. Equally important, all Pack members at Holiday Barn work together for a common set of company values and mission of "Creating Joy in the lives of pets and their families."

Pack members must be able to stand for long periods of time, walk frequently, and demonstrate the ability to lift pets up to 30 lbs. We represent Holiday Barn through telephone conversations, face-to-face interactions, on tours, and even at pet related events. Members in Customer Experience Support/Runners are an intuitive part of our "pack" and work within our company's values and brand experience. Runners interact with customers and are one of the first friendly faces our guests see when they come into our lobby. Our Runners are an important part of the Customer Experience Pack. Our front desk associates rely on our Runners to keep the lobbies squeaky clean and guide our guests to and from their lodging areas.

Talents for a Customer Experience Support/Runner

  • Shows consistent initiative to complete assignments in a timely manner
  • Improves guest's check in/out process by successfully organizing guest's belongings prior to departure
  • Assist Customer Experience Associates on giving tours to current and potential clients (pet owners)
  • Desire to further career at Holiday Barn Pet Resorts
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
  • This position is open for candidates with morning, afternoon, and weekend availability.
  • Basic pet industry knowledge - we don't expect you to know every breed, but some pet experience is beneficial.
  • Flexibility - we are a pet boarding business; candidates must be ready to work weekends and major holidays.
  • Strong communication skills.

This workplace is moderately and physically demanding. Candidates must have the ability to lift and push up to 50lbs, stand for extended periods, be able to bend, stoop, reach, and stretch, along with the ability to move pets within the facility, vehicles, up and down stairs, and in and out of enclosures. The workplace is typified as a loud working environment - barking dogs, high-pressure dryers, etc.

Holiday Barn is a drug free workplace.
Holiday Barn is an equal opportunity employer.
