Job description

We are seeking a Hoisting Engineer / Operator for assignment in Southbridge, Massachusetts. The selected candidate will perform a variety of tasks in the operations and maintenance of a wastewater treatment plant along with loader operations at the compost facility.
Hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
This position requires a Massachusetts's Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with Class (N) endorsement
This position requires a Hoisting Engineer 2A or 2B License
This position has an on-call schedule
Responsibilities

  • Preventive maintenance
  • Establish and maintain effective sample procedures of plant operations and effluent
  • Diagnose operating problems
  • Make process control adjustments
  • Prepare reports
  • Collect samples
  • Perform laboratory testing
  • Determine proper chemical flow rates
  • Maintain shift logs
  • Perform other duties as required

Qualifications
  • A valid Drivers License
  • A Massachusetts's Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with Class (N) endorsement
  • A Hoisting Engineer 2A or 2B License
  • A Massachusetts Wastewater License is a plus
