Job description

Overview: The Field Sales organization is the driving force behind achieving market penetration objectives
and overall Gross Add goals. In addition, the organization contributes to Surf Internet brand awareness and
reinforces our commitment to being local members of the communities we serve.
Reports to: MDU and Residential Sales Manager
Job Status: Exempt
Responsibilities:
  • Expectations:
    • Expected to canvas turf in assigned areas, attend local marketing events with sales opportunities and develop / maintain positive relationships with MDU and HOA management in designated regions
    • Performance expectation to achieve / exceed designated quota installed sales per month
  • Opportunities for promotion when available will be based on:
    • Exceeding average measurable performance goals
    • Displaying exceptional customer relationship qualities
    • Showing exceptional leadership abilities within the sales team and external departments
    • Exemplary attendance with motivation to work independently
  • Work directly with potential and existing customers to recommend products and services to fit their needs
  • Develop a rapport with potential and existing customers, demonstrating a friendly and helpful manner to put them at ease
  • Foster a positive and pleasant working relationship with apartment complex and HOA management
  • Familiarize yourself with Surf Internet current information about services, products and promotions available to customers as well as our competition
  • Use the company's sales portal to create sales orders and schedule installation of services

Qualifications:
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to interact daily with customers from a wide range of cultures and backgrounds
  • Strong self-motivation and comfortable working independently and making minor decisions without direct supervision
  • Good sense of organization and keen attention to detail
  • Knowledge of customer service best practices and desire to participate in trainings and professional development

  • Availability to work evenings and weekends

Compensation:
  • Highly competitive commission only with 90 day paid ramp-up period
  • Expected annual earnings of 75k with minimum expectations achieved
