Overview
DLH Corp, is looking for a Public HealthGraphic Designer,to join our talented and innovative team supporting the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Atlanta, GA.
CDC's National Center for HIV/AIDS, Viral Hepatitis, STD, and TB Prevention (NCHHSTP), the Division of HIV Prevention (DHP) is charged with preventing HIV infection and reducing the incidence of HIV-related illness and death. The overarching objectives of the contract held by DLH are to assist DHP in addressing its public health mission by providing data management, data governance, data analysis, and data dissemination support to strengthen the nationwide capacity to monitor the HIV epidemic.
This position is 100% remote. However, employees may be required to attend occasional in-person meetings, trainings, or team events on an as-needed basis. To support onboarding and compliance requirements, candidates must reside within reasonable commuting distance of Atlanta, GA; Chicago, IL; or Washington, DC. Access to one of these secure office locations is required for smart card issuance, background investigation processing, and other periodic administrative or security-related activities.
Responsibilities
  • Write, edit, create images for, design, develop, and enhance dissemination products including Web content, social media materials, fact sheets, and other documents.
  • Use information from various data/information sources to prepare information content and documents.
  • Ensure dissemination products are accurate, clearly written, and accessible on the web using established usability and Section 508 guidelines.
  • Support efforts on multiple health promotion campaigns.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related discipline
  • 2 years of experience working with digital tools such as Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Ability to develop and design visual assets for print, web, and social media marketing.
  • Skilled at developing concept art for stakeholder feedback.
  • Must be able to obtain a NAC clearance

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with HIV prevention promotion
  • Prior experience with CDC, HHS, or other federal or state health agency.
  • Master's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related discipline.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong time-management skills and ability to juggle multiple projects to meet tight deadlines.

Basic Compensation: $50,000 - $80,000 yearly salary
The salary range listed reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. The final offer may vary based on skills, experience, geographic location, market conditions, and internal equity. Additional compensation may include performance incentives and program-specific awards. We do not use salary history to determine compensation, in line with applicable law.
