• Conduct comprehensive, culturally sensitive assessments of clients' mental health needs and establish a thorough understanding of their backgrounds and challenges.
• Develop, implement, and periodically revise personalized therapy plans that engage clients in their journey toward resilience and improved mental health.
• Facilitate individual, couples, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques to address a variety of emotional and behavioral issues.
• Design and apply crisis management and wellness strategies, including developing safety plans, relapse prevention techniques, and comprehensive recovery plans when needed.
• Monitor client progress and adapt treatment options based on effective evaluation and feedback, ensuring that therapeutic goals are met efficiently.

The licensed mental health counselor will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and other mental health challenges. Our focus on culturally sensitive care ensures that we honor the unique backgrounds of each client, tailoring therapy sessions to meet their specific needs. This approach not only aids in strong therapeutic alliances but also significantly enhances client outcomes.

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related mental health field is required.
• Must hold an active Virginia licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse client populations, addressing complex and varied mental health needs.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to foster trust and rapport with clients.

While a minimum of two years of clinical experience is required, candidates with additional experience in trauma-informed care, grief counseling, or family therapy are highly desirable. Familiarity with telehealth technology and innovative therapy modalities will also be advantageous as we seek to enhance client interactions in a remote setting.

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 110,000 annually, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package.
