NOW HIRING – PART-TIME JANITOR

Pay Rate: $17.13 per Hour

Shifts: Open Availability Required (Weekends & Holidays Required)

Join the Huntleigh USA team and support essential airport operations at Washington Dulles International Airport. We are seeking reliable, detail-oriented individuals who take pride in maintaining clean, safe, and professional airport environments.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Janitor is responsible for performing general cleaning and sanitation duties throughout assigned airport areas, including offices, gate areas, jet bridges, and stairwells. This role plays an important part in ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for passengers and airport staff.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform general cleaning and disinfecting of offices and airport facilities
• Sweep and mop floors in designated areas
• Dust surfaces and maintain cleanliness of workspaces
• Empty and dispose of trash from bins and receptacles
• Clean and maintain gate areas, jet bridges, and stairways
• Support overall cleanliness of high-traffic airport zones
• Follow all safety procedures and cleaning protocols

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, squat, stoop, and push throughout the entire shift
• Must be able to lift, carry, and/or hold 10–20 pounds or more with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks in a fast-paced environment

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• High School Diploma or equivalent may be required in some locations
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work
• Must have a reliable contact telephone number
• Ability to read, write, speak, and follow verbal and written instructions in English
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must be able to pass required drug and alcohol testing (DOT or Non-DOT) and comply with random testing requirements
