Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Health Information Management (HIM) Analyst with experience supporting HIM operations, Solventum (formerly 3M Health Information Systems), and healthcare payor platform workflows. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of health information management processes, medical records management, coding workflows, regulatory compliance, and healthcare technology systems. Relevant certifications are mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support and maintain HIM workflows and healthcare information systems.
  • Configure, optimize, and troubleshoot HIM-related applications and processes.
  • Assist with document management, chart completion, deficiency management, release of information, and record retention activities.
  • Collaborate with clinical, coding, revenue cycle, compliance, and IT teams.
  • Support Solventum (3M) applications and integrations related to HIM, coding, and clinical documentation.
  • Analyze business requirements and implement system enhancements.
  • Participate in testing, upgrades, validation, and production support activities.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, privacy requirements, and organizational policies.
  • Develop system documentation, workflows, and end-user training materials.
  • Support operational improvements and HIM optimization initiatives.

Requirements
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in Health Information Management (HIM), Medical Records, Health Information Systems, or related healthcare IT environments.
  • Experience supporting HIM workflows, chart management, release of information (ROI), deficiency tracking, document management, and compliance processes.
  • Experience working with Solventum (3M) HIM solutions, coding, CDI, or healthcare revenue cycle systems.
  • Experience with healthcare payor platforms, claims, authorizations, eligibility, or payer operations.
  • Strong understanding of HIPAA, healthcare privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

    • Knowledge of healthcare data governance and medical record management.
    • Understanding of coding workflows, CDI processes, revenue cycle operations, and payer systems.
