Job description

AWS Global Sales drives adoption of the AWS cloud worldwide, enabling customers of all sizes to innovate and expand in the cloud. Our team empowers every customer to grow by providing tailored service, unmatched technology, and architecture guidance. We dive deep to understand each customer's unique challenges, then craft innovative solutions that accelerate their success.

This customer-first approach is how we built the world's most adopted cloud. Join us and help us grow.
As a Solutions Architect at AWS, you'll build deep technical relationships with customers of all sizes and operate as their trusted advisor across the full breadth of AWS - from core infrastructure to the latest innovations in AI and machine learning. You'll help customers get the most out of the cloud at every stage of their journey, whether they're migrating workloads, modernizing applications, or exploring what's next with Generative AI.
You'll manage the overall technical relationship between AWS and our customers, making recommendations on security, cost, performance, reliability, and operational efficiency to accelerate their most challenging projects

You'll guide customers across the entire AWS portfolio - compute, storage, networking, databases, analytics, and beyond - while also helping them unlock new possibilities with services like Amazon Bedrock for building Generative AI applications, and emerging Agentic AI architectures that automate complex, multi-step workflows. Internally, you will be the voice of the customer, sharing their needs and wants to inform the roadmap of AWS features. In this role, your creativity will link technology to tangible solutions, with the opportunity to implement cloud-native reference architectures for a wide variety of use cases.
You will participate in the creation and sharing of best practices, technical content, and new reference architectures (e.g

white papers, code samples, blog posts) and evangelize and educate about AWS technology (e.g. through workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking, online videos, or conferences). This includes helping customers understand how tools like Amazon Kiro are redefining the developer experience, and how Generative AI is transforming the way teams build, ship, and operate software at scale.
If you can educate AWS customers about the art of the possible, spanning everything from foundational cloud architecture to GenAI-powered applications and Agentic AI workflows, while challenging the impossible, come build the future with us.
This role is within the Hi-Tech and Semiconductor Solutions Architect organization and you would be working with Enterprise customers.
Come build the future with us.
Key job responsibilities
Work with customer executives and architects to accelerate their business outcomes and recommend cloud architectures in line with their long-term business needs
Leverage technical depth in AI/ML, Data Analytics, Storage, Compute, Networking to drive technical solutions and help customers solve problems and use your knowledge to craft scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures
Scope and own customer engagements, with attention towards clear and well-defined objectives and success criteria
Define and deliver customer solutions by engaging both internal teams and partners
