Job Description
This position can sit virtually in the Eastern or Central timezone. 50% traval is required for this position.
Compensation: $200,000.00 - $250,000.00, plus potential annual bonus
The base compensation range for this role is fixed, with a maximum cap of $250,000.00. We want to be transparent about this as we continue discussions.
Hour: Monday - Friday, 8AM - 5PM,

The VP of Home Health is a Registered Nurse who is approved by the agency President and CEO to oversee clinical operations. The VP of Home Health is responsible directly or indirectly for all clinical departments, including Scheduling, Case Coordination, Intake, Nursing, Therapy, and Tele-health.
VICE PRESIDENT OF HOME HEALTH DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for organization, leadership and provision of agency clinical programs and daily operations
• Responsible for the review, analysis, and appraisal of the effectiveness of the total Agency clinical program and daily operation
• Participates in ongoing evaluation of Agency financial performance and identification, planning and implementation for areas of improvement in conjunction with Agency President.
• Directs team members in improving clinical outcomes, operational processes, and quality improvement activities.
• Responds to exceptions in performance metrics such as clinical outcomes, audit results, compliance directives, and state survey results.
• In conjunction with other senior management, participates in strategic planning, administrative activities, and special projects.
• Develops and prepares reports to inform President and Board members of team initiatives, project status, issues, results, achievements, and quality improvement activities
• Assumes key leadership role to ensure and promote standards for giving quality, effective and efficient patient care by all members of the patient care team
• Responsible for encouraging and assisting personnel to continue self-improvement through education, meetings, and active participation in professional and related organizations.
• Provides for continuing education and in-service for all staff.
• Serves as a member of the Professional Advisory Committee.
• Participates in State and National organizations, meetings, workshops, etc.
• Ensures the accuracy of public information materials and activities.
• Selects and maintains a qualified, well-organized staff to provide care for the needs of the patients.
• Establishes staffing patterns, which reflect the quality and quantity of various personnel necessary to plan, provide, and supervise the care rendered to patients and families.
• Establishes service committees to facilitate and attain the objectives of the service program.
• Consults with supervisors and staff, individually or in groups, regarding patients or families, special programs, or service programs.
• Consults with the physician's in matters relating to patient care services.
• Periodically reviews policies relevant to patient care with the Professional Advisory Committee.
• Utilizing the capabilities of nursing and paramedical personnel in the development of orientation and staff education programs.
• Recognizing leadership potential and offering opportunities for leadership training and development.
VICE PRESIDENT OF HOME HEALTH QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. • Licensed, Registered Nurse or therapist in the State of Pennsylvania.
• In-depth knowledge of Medicare regulations and procedures.
• Able to speak and write clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations.
• Must demonstrate effective leadership ability.
• Must effectively communicate in writing and verbally.
• Must demonstrate good decision-making skills as well as the ability to think critically and problem solve, identifying and resolving problems in a timely manner, gathering and analyzing information skillfully.
• Must be able to use good and sound clinical judgment, making decisions on time.
• Must hold, in good standing, a license as a Registered Nurse/Therapist, issued by the State of Pennsylvania.
• Must understand the team approach and be a supportive team member.
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
• Associate Degree, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years in home health care or long term care facility.
• Proven progressive advancement and leadership in a Medicare-certified home health agency.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Must have and maintain a valid Driver's License in the state in which you work, maintain automobile insurance coverage and have access to a reliable automobile. Must have and maintain in good standing professional license, certificate or registration.
