Responsibilities

Receives and responds to oral and written patient account inquiries. This position requires the exercise of courtesy and patience to resolve patient balances and maintain positive patient relations.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

1. a. One (1) year experience in customer service in a medical business environment (hospital, insurance company, doctor's office), medical collections, or related field, OR b. Three (3) years experience in customer service in any other industry. 2. Professional written and verbal communication skills. 3. Basic reading, writing and arithmetic. 4. Basic computer skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite.

PREFERRED:

1. Basic knowledge of hospital terminology applicable to patient billing. 3. Two (2) years experience in customer service, collections, or related field. 4. CPAR-Certified Patient Account Representative (HFMA Georgia) 5. Bilingual skills preferred.

Work Hours:7:45-4:30Employment Type: FULL_TIME
