Join our dynamic Core Technologies Supplier Quality Engineering team. We lead the component and technology Operations technical teams during the development of next-generation products. As the technical lead for a core technology commodity, you will partner closely with multidisciplinary teams and global suppliers to enable product success.In this role, you will own the quality and manufacturing process controls for critical components prior to launch. Acting as the primary technical advisor for your domain, you will drive Design for Manufacturability (DFM), yield improvements, and test strategies. You will achieve this through advanced statistical knowledge, failure analysis, technical problem-solving, program management, and the ability to deliver clear executive presentations.
5+ years of industry experience in one or more of the following disciplines: New Product Introduction / Design Engineering / Manufacturing Operations / Quality EngineeringBS in Mechanical, Electrical, Materials Science or Industrial Engineering
MS in Mechanical, Electrical, Materials Science or Industrial Engineering exceptional ability to build relationships; clear, consistent communication; data-driven and results- oriented; enthusiastic and motivatedObsessively passionate and inquisitive, seeking to pursue everyday problems in innovative waysLaser-focused on the smallest details and able to use data forensics to solve complex manufacturing assembly quality issuesExperience partnering with off-shore manufacturers, high volume production and traveling to manufacturing sitesDirect experience partnering with functional engineering teams (ME, EE, TE, DFX or other)
