Front Desk Manager (Part-Time) – Private Pediatric Practice

Meet the Practice
Pure Joy Pediatrics is a general pediatric practice located in Portland, OR operating based on Six Sigma Lean Methodologies. Dr. Kirin Palmer started this practice in 2022 with the intention of restoring joy back to the physician patient relationship. So many things work to pull this relationship apart. 
She wanted to build a practice and system that would bolster rather than detract from this experience. Supporting parents in their journey of parenthood is at the heart of what we love to do at Pure Joy Pediatrics. Building this practice has been exhilarating and the kudos and reviews from families has really propelled the project forward by leaps and bounds. It is because we all believe in this work.  
 
Patient care is a must but it is only a part of what we do every day. Encouraging and supporting parents as they develop their own parenting style and garner confidence is the heart of what Pure Joy Pediatrics offers parents. When parents feel empowered in their roles as advocates, caretakers and nurturers of their children, the children naturally benefit. Better yet, they thrive. That is ultimately, the goal.  
 
 
Meet your CEO and Mentor
Dr. Kirin Palmer is the CEO and Founder of Pure Joy Pediatrics in Portland, OR. She has a wealth of experience after nearly 18 years in pediatrics. Her experience was built on her years in pediatric hospital medicine, running house calls and working as an urgent care and emergency room pediatric physician. She has been practicing general pediatrics in the Portland area for the past 8+ years. She opened her own single provider practice in 2022 with the intention of restoring joy to the pediatric encounter. Healthcare encounters feel more and more rushed these days, but her approach in providing comfort measures for procedures actual improves the clinical work flow and keeps patients coming back. Her patients appreciate the intention and many stop by for office visits multiple times a month. Her focus on team has resulted in a supportive and innovate staff that teaches and exchanges ideas to improve systems and patient care.
