Job description

Under the direction of the Service Desk Manager the incumbent provides first level problem tracking and recording and executes quick and efficient resolutions of technical issues on supported platforms. Assists Analysts as needed and works with and assists the Lead Analyst in resolving problems and performing routine service for customers. Must be detail oriented with excellent written and oral communication skills, and have excellent listening skills and problem solving abilities. The position requires a knowledge of Active Directory, Networking fundamentals, Microsoft Windows, and all Microsoft Office applications. Associate's degree in computer science or a related field with a minimum of one (1) year of service desk experience; or three (3) years of service desk experience; or five (5) years of Foxwoods operational experience that includes working with computer systems and technology in support of departmental operations. Service Desk/Help Desk certification is preferred. Strong problem solving skills. Excellent time management skills.
