Job description

Our client, a leading financial services organization, is looking to hire a Help Desk Representative in South Jordan, UT.


Pay Rate Range: $21โ€“$25/hour W2, depending on experience


Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely manner.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and applications.
  • Handle incoming calls related to customer inquiries and account support.
  • Deliver accurate and efficient service while meeting performance metrics and service-level agreements.
  • Provide a positive customer experience by effectively resolving technical issues.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and issue resolutions.
  • Follow established procedures and escalate complex issues to the appropriate support teams as needed.


Requirements:

  • 6 months to 2 years of relevant experience in IT support, help desk, or customer service; internships may be considered.
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree preferred, particularly for recent graduates.
  • Previous contact center or help desk experience is preferred.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and effectively communicate solutions to users.
  • Strong customer-service orientation and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple inquiries and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills.
  • Ability to meet established performance metrics and service-level requirements.
  • Contract duration of 6โ€“12 months with potential for full-time conversion based on performance and position availability.
