Job description

Our organization is currently looking for a full-time Physician - Psychiatrist to join our team in Springfield, MO. The ideal applicant should be Board Eligible or Certified in Psychiatry.

We are dedicated to delivering exceptional medical care while serving and honoring the brave individuals who have served in the military.

Applicants must hold an MD or DO from an accredited institution, have completed residency training that qualifies them for board eligibility or certification, and possess an active, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state.

Key Features of This Position:
  • Starting base salary range: $275,000 - $300,000
  • Work schedule will be discussed during the interview process.
  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations for a varied patient demographic, including geriatric individuals and post-deployment combat veterans facing mental health challenges and psychosocial issues such as homelessness and unemployment.
  • Deliver a comprehensive array of therapeutic interventions, including diagnostic assessments, medication management, suicide risk evaluations, crisis intervention, psychotherapy, and overall care for patients with psychiatric conditions.
  • For virtual roles, patient care will primarily be conducted via telehealth, with limited phone consultations as clinically appropriate.
  • Ensure maintenance of necessary licenses and board certifications.
  • Collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary care team, working alongside other physicians, physician assistants, advanced practice nurses, social workers, psychologists, peer support specialists, and additional staff. Act as a collaborating physician with PAs and APNs as needed.
