ISO 7101 Auditor - Healthcare & Veterinary Assurance

Location: US - Remote
Employment Type: Full-Time or Contract

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced ISO 7101 Auditor or a professional with a strong healthcare or veterinary background who is interested in becoming certified in ISO 7101 to support Assurance services across the Americas.

This opportunity is available as either a full-time position or a contract engagement, depending on candidate preference and experience.

You will lead audits against ISO 7101, while also bringing integrated management systems experience in ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001. Beyond compliance, you will act as a trusted advisor-engaging hospital executives, translating findings into strategic insights, and helping organizations strengthen governance, quality, and environmental performance.

In Your Day-to-Day, You Will Be Responsible For:

Audit Execution & Compliance

  • Conduct first-, second-, and third-party audits against ISO 7101, ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001

  • Evaluate governance, leadership, risk management, clinical processes, quality systems, and environmental controls

  • Prepare comprehensive audit reports with clear, risk-based, and actionable findings

  • Lead opening and closing meetings with executive stakeholders

Executive Engagement

  • Present audit findings to hospital boards, CEOs, CMOs, Veterinary Directors, and senior administrators

  • Translate technical standards requirements into strategic business language

  • Facilitate constructive executive-level discussions on risk, compliance, and continuous improvement

Consultative Advisory

  • Identify systemic gaps and performance improvement opportunities beyond minimum compliance

  • Provide strategic recommendations grounded in healthcare, veterinary, quality, and environmental management best practices

Stakeholder & Market Engagement

  • Collaborate with commercial and client management teams to support client retention and growth

  • Represent the organization at healthcare and veterinary industry events

  • Contribute subject matter expertise to support Assurance market development initiatives

To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Have:

  • 7-10+ years in healthcare or veterinary hospital environments, or management systems auditing within healthcare

  • Demonstrated auditing experience in ISO 7101, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 (Lead Auditor qualification preferred)

  • Strong working knowledge of integrated management systems and auditing principles aligned with ISO 19011

  • Experience presenting findings to senior leadership and executive teams

  • Background as a Veterinarian (DVM), healthcare executive, hospital administrator, or senior clinical leader is highly valued
