A Front Office Clerk/Registered Dental Assistant contributes to AHF's mission by presenting a friendly and helpful face to patients. Under the direction of the Dental Director at AHF, the Front Office Clerk/Dental Assistant provides assistance to the Dental staff.
As a Front Office Clerk/Registered Dental Assistant, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: front office management, greeting patients in a courteous and sensitive manner, scheduling appointments and assisting with the needs of our clients, billing and dental chart maintenance, and conducting patient eligibility and financial screening for services as required by the county.
The Front Office Clerk/Registered Dental Assistant acts as a patient advocate and performs those duties necessary to treat the patient as reflected in the mission of AHF.
The Front Office Clerk/Registered Dental Assistant can enhance the experience of other members of the Downtown Dental staff, by lending a helpful hand when needed, and thinking of their role as collaborative, rather than exclusive. In addition, giving feedback to their manager about how service could be improved will allow the team members to enhance their contribution.
The Front Office Clerk/Registered Dental Assistant adds consistent value to the Downtown Dental Team by adapting to various situations with ease and by being flexible.
