River Place Behavioral Health is a 104-bed acute psychiatric hospital serving adolescents and adults across the greater New Orleans region. Located in LaPlace, Louisiana, our hospital provides state-of-the-art, evidence-based behavioral healthcare in a safe, therapeutic, and patient-centered environment. 

Your Impact as CNO:

As Chief Nursing Officer, you will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for advancing nursing excellence, operational performance, and quality patient care.

You will:

  • Drive nursing strategy and operational excellence across all clinical services
  • Mentor and develop nursing leaders and high-performing teams
  • Ensure compliance with TJC, CMS, and regulatory standards
  • Oversee staffing, workforce planning, and budget management

Qualifications
  • Active RN license (Louisiana or eligible for endorsement)
  • Master's degree in Nursing or related healthcare field strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent experience required
  • 10+ years of nursing experience preferred
  • Minimum six years of registered nursing experience required
  • Behavioral health leadership experience strongly preferred
  • Prior CNO or Director of Nursing experience strongly preferred
  • Minimum two years behavioral health nursing experience in an inpatient setting required
  • Minimum three years of progressive nursing management or administrative leadership experience required
