Project Safety Advisor | Detroit, MI

As a Project Safety Advisor, you'll lead the charge in building a culture where safety is more than a priority - it's a core value. You'll ensure best practices are implemented, compliance standards are met, and every team member goes home safe each day.

HazTek is seeking an experienced Project Safety Advisor to oversee safety operations on our commercial construction projects. This role is critical in ensuring OSHA compliance, implementing best safety practices, and fostering a culture where every worker goes home safe.

  • Oversee all aspects of a commercial construction project ensuring OSHA compliance
  • Conduct daily safety meetings
  • Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations
  • Daily safety audits and inspections
  • Oversee all subcontractors and contractors
  • Oversee Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and Excavation
Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years direct construction safety experience required
  • Minimum 5 years supporting hyperscale or mission-critical data center construction
  • BCSP Certification, OSHA 510 or 500 a required
  • Strong understanding of owner expectations versus contractor safety responsibilities
