We are seeking a Quality Control Manager to join our BioNutrients team. In this role, you will own the quality and product safety for the Juneau facility - which is a 24/7 operation supporting the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries.

What you will do:
  • Own the Quality and Product Safety function for the Juneau facility, a 24/7/365 manufacturing facility.
  • Lead a team including our QC supervisor, Food Safety Manager, Sanitation Supervisor, as well as our QA and QC teams (~15 direct + indirect reports).
  • Collaborate with supply chain, engineering, operations, R&D and maintenance teams to ensure we produce high quality products on time and in full.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts for the Quality and Sanitation functions at the facility, act as a subject matter expert for all quality and product related issues.
  • Own audits, investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for the facility for quality related issues.
  • Oversee and take a hands-on approach with all manufacturing team members to build and support a culture of quality and food safety.

What you will bring
  • Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry or a related science field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years in Quality supervision/management in a food manufacturing or similar industry. Experience with the GFSI standards preferred.
  • Experience with RCAs, Audits, and Quality improvement projects.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Hands-on and data driven approach - with proven experience in both.
  • Technical and Analytical skills to support product testing inquiries and internal investigations.
  • Ability to support and oversee the performance of QC laboratory, Sanitation, and Food Safety work.
