Position Summary

Dealing with health plan data and trends can be unfamiliar territory for Meritain Health's clients. In collaboration with Meritain's Client Solutions Team we leverage analytics tools to evaluate quantitative and qualitative data. Informatics focuses on translating this data into comprehensive insights and actionable results for our employers.

  • Proactively offer insights on client plan performance with a focus of turning data into actionable information.
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate across departments to manage client and broker requests for your block of business.
  • Become a subject matter expert for Client Management, clients and brokers related to our internal analytics tool and their client's data.


Required Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience working with Tableau for data visualization and analytics.
  • 1+ year(s) of consultative data analysis experience.
  • 1+ year(s) computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat Pro experience with reporting platforms such as: Big data analytics, data mining, and Tableau.
  • 3+ years of Excel experience.
  • Strong communicator both written and oral with strong attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently without direction, and ability to prioritize work effectively.
  • Experience in statistical analysis.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of relational databases, data systems and data warehouses.
  • We support a hybrid work environment. If selected and you live near a suitable work location, you may be expected to comply with the hybrid work policy. Under the policy, all hires for in-scope populations should be placed into a hybrid or office-based location, working onsite three days a week. Aetna Service Operations office/hub locations will be discussed with the selected candidate.


Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ year(s) Project Management experience.
  • 1+ year(s) working with Health Care Insurance, primarily with Self-Funded claims with an understanding of data sources and categories.
  • Medical coding experience.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or High School Diploma and equivalent experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$43,888.00 - $102,081.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
