Job Description:

Saab Inc, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Informatics Analyst to support Business Operations functions, including project management, finance, scheduling, and manufacturing. This role focuses on enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes by leveraging data systems, analytics, and automation tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, integrate, and manage data across multiple business systems and applications

  • Support Business Operations teams by improving system utilization and workflow efficiency

  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data models to meet internal, corporate, and project requirements

  • Interface between cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow and system integration

  • Design and implement automation solutions using scripting and database tools

  • Maintain and enhance existing tools, including VBA-based applications and SQL queries

  • Support version control and deployment processes using SVN

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend scalable data solutions

Systems & Tools:

  • SharePoint

  • Oracle ERP / EBS ProPricer

  • Deltek COBRA

  • Microsoft Office Suite (including Project Server)

  • SQL databases

  • VBA (Microsoft Office-based)

Compensation Range: $92,200 - $115,300

The compensation range provided is a general guideline. When extending an offer, Saab, Inc. considers factors including (but not limited to) the role and associated responsibilities, location, and market and business considerations, as well as the candidate's work experience, key skills, and education/training.

Skills and Experience:

Required Skills:

  • BA/BS degree in information technology, computer science or related discipline

  • 8+ years' experience in a technical, business, military, professional or U.S. Government Contractor environment

  • Uses knowledge and expertise with tools and technologies and evaluates how to resolve user issues/requests

  • Evaluates department policies and procedures to suggest improvements and maintains high quality documentation

  • Effectively uses problem solving skills and analytical thinking to resolve business needs with technology solutions

  • Presents results/content to customers (internal or external) and/or others

  • Ability to perform as an integral part of a team

  • Solid organizational, verbal and written communication skills

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and VBA programming, especially Project and Excel

  • Working knowledge of SQL database queries

Desired Skills:

  • Understanding of project management process and practices, including Earned Value

  • Understanding of financial reporting practices and terminology

  • Understanding of manufacturing management process and practices

  • Power Bi Reports and Semantic Models

  • C# Programing
