Job description

Position Summary
VIP Community Services is seeking a Quality Informatics Analyst to support agency-wide quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives. This role bridges Quality, IT, clinical teams, and the EHR vendor to ensure data integrity, optimize clinical workflows, and strengthen regulatory compliance.
The ideal candidate is analytical, systems-oriented, and experienced in healthcare informatics within an FQHC or community health center setting.
At this time, we do not offer any relocation assistance.
This interview process requires a Microsoft Teams initial screening and 2 on-site Interviews with our leadership.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00am-5:00pm
Key Responsibilities
โ€ข Extract, analyze, and validate data from eClinicalWorks (eCW), eBO, AWARDS, and related systems
โ€ข Develop and maintain clinical quality and operational reports (UDS, performance metrics, dashboards)
โ€ข Support Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives
โ€ข Test and validate EHR upgrades in pre-production environments
โ€ข Optimize clinical workflows and documentation templates
โ€ข Ensure HIPAA Privacy and Security compliance across EHR platforms
โ€ข Deliver EHR training and provide end-user support
โ€ข Develop training materials, tip sheets, and workflow documentation
Requirements
Qualifications
โ€ข Bachelor's degree preferred (Health Informatics, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field) OR Associate's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience
โ€ข Proficiency in eClinicalWorks (eCW) and eBO reporting required
โ€ข Working knowledge of AWARDS preferred
โ€ข Experience in FQHC, Article 28, or community health center setting strongly preferred
โ€ข Knowledge of healthcare quality reporting and regulatory compliance
โ€ข Strong Excel and data analysis skills
โ€ข Understanding of HIPAA Privacy and Security regulations
Preferred Competencies
โ€ข Experience with NCQA PCMH, UDS reporting, or regulatory audits
โ€ข Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
โ€ข Ability to translate data into actionable improvement strategies
