Job description

Associate Designer - Headwear

Reporting to the Design Manager, the Associate Designer - Headwear assist in creating industry leading headwear designs that are on brief, on trend, on time, and embody '47 brand DNA and maximize market opportunities.

PRODUCT/MARKET

  • Basic understanding of relevant market headwear style trends.
  • Assists Senior Designers in creating and producing new headwear designs that align to larger '47 Brand product creative direction with supervision from Design leadership.
  • Support senior designers by executing segmented design tasks, concept research.

CRAFT/MANUFACTURING

  • Possesses a basic understanding of one or some of the following: headwear manufacturing, graphic design, industrial design, embroidery, fabrics.
  • Basic working knowledge of relevant design software.

ORGANIZATION/PROCESS

  • Works to develop an understanding of company processes as they relate to the creation and production of product.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

  • Able to manage own workload with assistance from Design Manager

PEOPLE/LEADERSHIP

  • No direct reports.
  • Works to develop a relationship with cross functional partners.

COMMUNICATION/INFLUENCE

  • Able to present work confidently at internal reviews and critiques

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 0-2 Years of relevant experience
