Job description

About the Opportunity

We are looking for a driven leader who wants more than "just running shifts." This role is designed for a selfstarter who is hungry to grow, influence others, and help lead our restaurant to the next level

---

Who We Are

At Chick-fil-A, we work to "have a positive influence on all who come in contact with Chick-fil-A," and we are committed to creating a workplace where everyone is treated with honor, dignity, and respect. Our restaurant is fast-paced, team-focused, and intentionally develops leaders for long-term success inside and outside the business.

---

What You'll Do

In this leadership development position, you will:

Lead daily operations, ensuring excellent food quality, speed of service, and a clean, safe environment

Set clear goals for each shift, communicate expectations, and hold the team accountable to Chick-fil-A standards

Coach and develop team members through on-shift feedback, intentional conversations, and modeling the behaviors you expect

Solve problems proactively, anticipate bottlenecks, and make decisions that support both people and results

Support senior leadership with projects that go beyond the shift (systems improvement, training, people development, or operations initiatives, depending on your strengths)

Protect and champion our culture by demonstrating genuine hospitality, servant leadership, and strong character in every situation

---

This Role Is More Than "Shift Lead"

This position is ideal for someone who:

Wants to learn how the business works, not just how a shift runs.

Gets energy from setting goals, tracking results, and celebrating wins with the team.

Desires growing into higher levels of responsibility (training, people & talent, operations, or director-level leadership over time)

Sees themselves as a multiplier-developing others, not just managing tasks.

---

What We're Looking For

Proven leadership experience (in restaurants, retail, school, church, sports, or similar) with a track record of influence and follow-through.

Self-motivated, takes initiative without waiting to be told what to do

Goal-oriented, organized, and able to execute at a fast yet excellent pace.

Strong communicator who gives clear direction and helpful feedback while treating people with respect

Passion for serving guests and building a positive, caring team culture

Availability for a mix of opening, mid, and closing shifts, including Fridays and Saturdays

---

Growth & Development

In this role you will:

Receive intentional leadership coaching, clear performance expectations, and regular feedback

Have opportunities to grow into higher levels of leadership based on performance, initiative, and alignment with our values

Build real-world skills in operations, people leadership, problem solving, and business acumen that can prepare you for future director roles, owning a business, or Chick-fil-A's Leadership Development opportunities

Working at a Chick-fil-A restaurant is more than a job - it's an opportunity for teamwork and leadership development in a positive, people-focused environment. Most Chick-fil-A restaurants are locally owned and operated by independent, franchised Operators who invest in the future of their Team Members and give back to their communities.
