Position Overview
We are seeking a visionary and business-minded Global Director of Information Technology to head our global IT organization. As our senior-most technology leader, you will align our technology strategy with overall business goals, driving digital transformation, operational efficiency, and innovation.
You will lead a team of 15–30 professionals across a multi-site footprint, serving as a trusted advisor to the executive leadership team. The ideal candidate pairs a "business-first" mentality with a strong background in commercial applications, business intelligence (BI), and AI-driven workflows within a global supply chain environment.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Executive Advisory
  • Tech Advisor: Serve as primary advisor to the executive team on technology strategy, investments, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.
  • Culture Champion: Drive a "business-first" culture focused on tangible, commercial outcomes and company values.
  • Governance: Lead the "Super User" program to embed data and process ownership directly into business units.

Financial & Vendor Management
  • Budgeting: Develop and manage the global IT budget to optimize total technology spend.
  • Vendor Operations: Oversee vendor sourcing, contract negotiations, licensing, and SLA performance.

IT Operations & Project Delivery
  • Service Delivery: Ensure global IT service processes meet internal customer needs and established SLAs.
  • Project Management: Guarantee on-time, on-spec, and on-budget delivery of regional and global initiatives.
  • Security & Compliance: Manage strategy, implementation, and testing for global security, privacy, and business continuity.

Team Development
  • Talent Management: Oversee recruitment, performance management, and professional development for the global IT team.


Position Requirements
Experience & Background
  • Senior Leadership: 8+ years in a senior IT management role leading cross-functional teams.
  • Company Scale: Proven experience in mid-market companies (IT team size of 15–30) with at least 5 distinct operating locations.
  • Industry Context: Experience in consumer goods, retail, or distribution where product supply chain flow is the primary business process (manufacturing not required).
  • Systems Expertise: Hands-on experience implementing, upgrading, or modernizing ERP, CRM, and BI systems managing global supply chains (3PLs, contract manufacturing, DTC, and large retail).
  • Integration: Direct experience with customer/vendor integrations, including EDI and large-scale retail setups.
