Founded in 2021 in NYC, dub is building the first copy-trading platform where instead of picking stocks, you pick people and mirror their investments. We've built the first marketplace for connecting retail investors with investing talent.
Our mission is to simplify investing by making it about people selection, and hopefully onboard the ~50% of Americans who don't own a single stock and aren't participating in the greatest wealth creation engine of our times: the stock market. Job done right, we will rewrite the playbook for how the regular individual invests and transform global GDP.
In less than 12 months post-launch, we just crossed 1 Million downloads and have almost 50K paying subscribers.

About the role
Reporting to the CEO & Founder, the Finance Content Writer will be responsible for driving engagement and thought leadership through the creation of high-quality finance content centered on dub's mission, impact, and investment products.
You'll break down complex market trends and investment insights in a clear, compelling way that resonates with our audience. From rapid coverage of breaking news to deep dives into investment strategies, you'll own the dub's written content production process-working in tandem with our Marketing team and Head of Investments to workshop ideas and our Compliance team to ensure regulatory adherence. The content you make will be distributed across our newsletters, X, and all relevant channels. Additionally, you will craft content about the investment portfolios built in-house through dub Advisors as well as those developed by organic creators on our platform.
Responsibilities
  • Build dub's written content into an industry-wide respected brand loved by our customers for its unique, timely, and deep insights.
  • Create and publish engaging finance articles, newsletters, and multimedia content (videos, podcasts, infographics) that demystify market trends and investment strategies.
  • Write compelling content on our investment portfolios curated by dub Advisors and by organic creators on the platform.
  • Monitor and react to breaking market news, delivering timely, insightful content when it matters most.
  • Own the full written content lifecycle-from ideation, research, drafting, editing to final publication across our newsletters, X, LinkedIn, and all text-driven social channels.
  • Engage and reply to our community on each of the social channels you publish content on.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Compliance, and our Head of Investments to ensure all content meets regulatory standards and delivers unique, valuable insights.
  • Leverage your intuition for viral trends to experiment with innovative formats and boost audience engagement.
  • Continuously be pitching management and marketing on new content ideas and ways to grow the business through content.

Qualifications
  • Intense passion for financial content creation - demonstrated through personal or past company work
  • Proven track record of building an engaged audience through high-quality finance content
  • Strong self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently, managing the entire content creation process from start to finish
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with an ability to simplify complex financial concepts
  • Lives in NYC and enjoys brainstorming in person

Nice to Haves
  • Professional background in finance with a strong understanding of investing principles and market dynamics
