Job description

EventMobi is a remote-first company, and this is a fully remote position. This role is open to candidates based anywhere in Canada, but requires flexibility in working hours to align with ET and ensure overlap with the global marketing team.

WHY YOU SHOULD JOIN US?

Own the engine. Content, SEO/AEO, campaigns, product launches: the stuff that actually moves EventMobi's pipeline forward, not just sits on a slide.

Here’s the best part: you'll be marketing a product tens of thousands of event marketers genuinely love. EventMobi's bootstrapped, founded in 2010, and growing fast in the age of AI. No VC runway clock, no growth-at-all-costs nonsense. The best conference planners in North America and Europe run their events on us. That's the product you get to tell the story of.

This is a player/coach role. You'll lead the content team and you won't do it alone: demand gen, marketing ops, events, product, and sales all show up to help you ship work you're proud of.

WHO YOU ARE

You write. You edit. You know good messaging when you see it, and you know how to fix it when it isn’t. Email, web, video, blog: no matter the format, you turn it into campaigns that perform across channels.

You're smart enough to learn the language our buyers speak and how our products actually work, straight from Sales and Product.

You're the person who keeps 12 things moving at once without dropping one. Deadlines don't slip on your watch. The marketing calendar is a living, breathing thing you control, not a spreadsheet that controls you.

WHAT YOUR WORK WILL FOCUS ON 1. Organic Demand is Your Jam

You own the content gap analysis. You know exactly what's missing across every funnel, TOFU to BOFU, and you go build it. Blog, landing pages, website videos, YouTube scripts, lead magnets: you create it and update it, with your creative and marketing admin backing you up to keep execution on fire.

SEO and AEO strategy is yours end to end. Keyword tracking, prompt tracking, and you set the priorities based on what’ll actually move the needle. You don't let content die after one publish. Repurposing content in different formats is in your blood. You know how to build effective campaigns for distribution.

And the social program, company/founder/SME are yours to lead. You own the calendar and call the shots on what gets promoted. You don’t wait around for direction.

2. You Create Product Launches and Campaigns That Move the Pipeline

You own the campaign strategy, calendar and content. Work back schedules, status updates, across new-business, customer campaigns, every email that goes out the door.

You're the last line of defence before anything ships. Emails, launch videos, customer comms: if it's off-brand, off-message, or just not good enough, it doesn't go out until you say so.

You partner with the Product Team to make sure launches aren't just on time; they're built to actually generate pipeline. And you keep regional marketing in lockstep so launches land together, not as disconnected efforts.

SUPPORT & COLLABORATION
  • Marketing Admin & Creative: reports to you. Your right hand on video, blog, social and lead magnet production.
  • VP of Marketing: direction setting, prioritization, and the person who clears cross-functional blockers when you hit them.
  • Marketing Operations: the backend muscle. Systems, analytics, and execution support for website and platform decisions.
  • Product Team: positioning, feature messaging, and launch readiness, so you're never guessing what the product actually does.
  • Regional Marketing: your partner across Germany, UK and rest of Europe, keeping campaigns and launches in sync instead of running in parallel.
  • Sales Leadership: the sounding board for what is priority for prospects and customers. And content that can help close deals at the bottom of the funnel.
  • Tools: We will arm you with the fanciest tools and hardware to win the battle: Gong, AirOps, Claude, Zapier, HubSpot, WordPress, Notion, Fellow, Slack, Google Workspace... the mighty MacBook, and humble Pen & Paper.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
  • 8+ years of progressive B2B marketing experience. Corporate side, not agency.
  • You've built and run an SEO/AEO strategy yourself, from scratch. Not just executed inside someone else's plan.
  • You've owned a content and campaign calendar end to end, and lived to tell about it.
  • You write and edit at a high level. You know what's good, what's not, and how to fix it, and you can turn brand voice and positioning into copy that actually lands.
  • You've coordinated product launches across product and regional teams and know how many moving pieces that takes.
  • You use AI in your daily workflow and pick up new tools fast.
  • You're comfortable with high autonomy. You take work off a VP's plate without needing the role spelled out for you first.
WHAT WILL YOU GET FROM EVENTMOBI?
  • Compensation: CA$120,000-$150,000 (Base + Bonus), Stock Option, and Benefits
  • Time-Off: 15 days annual leave + 3 summer days + your birthday is a holiday (seriously! log-off and hang out with the fam or go do something fun)
  • Regional in-person gatherings and co-working sessions to meet your co-workers in person throughout the year
  • Tools: Top-of-the-line hardware and the best collaboration software for remote work, so you can be as productive as possible while working from home
  • The Best Coworkers Ever: If you ask anyone who has worked at EventMobi, they will tell you that their fellow Mobiers are the best part of their experience! Don't underestimate the positive impact caring co-workers have on your everyday happiness.
REMOTE WORKSPACE REQUIREMENTS:
  • You have a safe, comfortable, and ergonomic workspace and working environment - a private and quiet workspace is a vital requirement for doing your best work!
  • You have a reliable internet connection capable of participating in video calls, with at least 30 Mbps download speed
