Facility is looking for someone with at least 4 years of experience in the NICU.Data Collection: 06.03.25 Unit Information: Neonatal Intensive Care Location: Valley Regional Medical Center Address:100 E Alton Gloor Brownsville TX 78521 Floor: 1st Building: A General Information Tell us about the unit(s): • Number of Beds - 10 NICU 8 Stepdown • Number of Staff - 20 • Type of staff: o Day Shift - 1 charge, up to 4 RN o Night Shift - 1 charge, up to 4 RN • Patient Ratios - 1:3, 1:1 • Type of equipment - HFNC, Vents, SiPAP, HFOV, Central Lines, PIV, Feeding Pumps, IV Pumps. • EMR - CPN/Meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. • Minimum 2 years of NICU Level III - IV experience. • RN, NRP, STABLE Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. • Minimum 2 years of NICU Level III - IV experience. • List typical procedures performed on unit(s): • Intubations (Provider) • Chest Tubes, PICC lines, Central Lines.
