Top Advantage Surfaces - The Countertop Specialists - is looking for a dependable, hands-on Fabrication Team Member to join our Stone & Solid Surface Shop in Hartville, Ohio. This is a production floor role where your attention to detail and work ethic directly impact the quality of every countertop that leaves our shop. Experience in fabrication, manufacturing, construction, or shop work is helpful - but we're willing to train the right person.

Position Summary
As a Fabrication Team Member at Top Advantage Surfaces, you will assist in the fabrication, preparation, and finishing of countertop and surface materials for customer projects. You will work alongside an experienced shop team in a fast-paced production environment, helping ensure every piece that leaves the shop meets our quality standards.
The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, safety-focused, and genuinely enjoys working with their hands. We are willing to invest in the right person.
What You'll Do
Fabrication & Finishing
• Assist with the fabrication and finishing of stone and solid surface materials
• Measure, cut, polish, sand, and prepare materials according to job specifications
• Operate fabrication equipment, hand tools, and shop machinery safely and effectively
• Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications before release
Shop Operations & Safety
• Read job paperwork, drawings, and fabrication details accurately
• Help load and unload materials safely using proper technique and equipment
• Maintain organization and cleanliness within the shop throughout every shift
• Follow all company safety procedures and standards - every time, without exception
• Assist with additional shop or production duties as assigned
Team Collaboration
• Work closely with fabrication, installation, and production teams to meet project deadlines
• Communicate proactively with team leads regarding job status, material concerns, or quality issues
• Support a positive, efficient, and professional shop environment

• Ability to read measurements accurately and follow written instructions and job paperwork

• Comfortable with frequent standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive motion throughout the shift
Preferred Experience
• Prior experience in fabrication, manufacturing, construction, or shop work
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and production equipment
• Experience working with stone, solid surface, tile, or similar materials
• Background in a quality-driven production or trade environment
