The Cash Application role will receive mail payments and EFT transmittals and record and enter into Oak Harbor's AR systems to ensure appropriate credits are applied to customer accounts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Receive and open mail, sort and organize payments.
  • Enter payment information into OHFL systems in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Ensure documents are prepared, staples/paperclips are removed and paper is smooth and ready to be easily received and read by scanner.
  • Scan and index all payments for easy and expedient retrieval by OHFL staff members.
  • Prepare deposit records on a daily basis in an accurate and complete manner.
  • Provide follow up and reports for AR Manager regarding deposit status

Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
  • 1+ year office experience in a high- volume, transaction oriented role.
  • Ability to type 50 WPM and 10-key of 290 KPM with 100% accuracy
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy and follow-through skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with customers and resolve issues
  • Strong knowledge of AS400 tools.
  • Previous experience with AS400 preferred
  • HS Diploma. Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
