About the Overnight Freight Clerk Position
Bi-Mart is looking for dependable, hardworking individuals to join our Overnight Freight Team. Overnight Freight Clerks are responsible for unloading freight, organizing inventory, stocking merchandise, and preparing the sales floor for the next business day.
Responsibilities include safely unloading delivery trucks, moving merchandise throughout the store, stocking shelves, maintaining an organized backroom, and ensuring products are accurately placed and displayed. This position requires the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy, safety, and attention to detail. Team members work both independently and collaboratively to complete nightly freight goals.
Qualifications include, but are not limited to:
  • Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to safely lift, carry, and move merchandise throughout the shift.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to following safe work practices and maintaining a clean, organized work area.

Experience:
Previous experience as a cashier, sales associate, bagger, warehouse worker, or other retail positions are a plus.
Prior experience at retail brands such as Target, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Fred Meyer, Safeway, and Albertsons is also an asset!

Schedule
This is an overnight position that operates outside of normal business hours. Team members typically work four 10-hour overnight shifts per week. Scheduled days and hours may vary by location and business needs.
Shift schedules may also vary based on workload and operational requirements.
