Class B Driver - Touch Freight, Local Routes

Location: South Charlotte, NC
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour

About the Position 

Class A CDL Delivery Driver

We are hiring an experienced Class B Driver - Touch Freight, Local Routes for a local delivery route based in South Charlotte, NC. This position offers consistent work with daily travel up to 300 miles and home every night, with no overnight travel required.

Drivers will transport and deliver fiberglass and metal insulation materials using both 53-foot semi-trailers and 24-foot box trucks. This role is ideal for someone who values safety, reliability, and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities 

Class B Driver - Touch Freight, Local Routes

  • Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local deliveries
  • Deliver fiberglass and metal insulation products to customer locations
  • Load and unload materials using hand labor and pallet jacks
  • Complete deliveries accurately and on schedule
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance concerns
  • Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures

Qualifications 

Class B Driver - Touch Freight, Local Routes

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Minimum 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to safely load, unload, and move materials as needed
