Job Overview:

We are seeking dependable and professional Class A Drivers to join our team in Buena Park, CA, as Port Drivers working night shifts. This role involves handling touch freight operations at the port, with all deliveries utilizing day cabs. Candidates will primarily operate night routes, ensuring timely and safe deliveries between the port and various destinations, including occasional return trips to Arizona (no overnight trips). The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, punctual, and committed to providing excellent service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate Class A vehicles while handling touch freight operations at the port
  • Drive local and regional routes between the port, Buena Park, and destinations such as Las Vegas, San Diego, and Arizona (return trips only)
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
  • Maintain accurate logs and adhere to DOT regulations and company safety standards
  • Ensure timely, safe, and secure deliveries
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members regarding routes and deliveries

Compensation:

  • Pay Rate: $29.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Night shifts, typically starting between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM
  • 6 days per week (schedule may vary based on operational needs)

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 18 months of relevant Class A driving experience
  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Experience with touch freight preferred
  • Ability to work night shifts consistently
  • Bilingual skills are a plus; English proficiency required
  • Safety-conscious, dependable, and professional attitude
