Job description

 

Local CDL Class A delivery driver responsible for loading and unloading freight using a pallet jack or other powered material handling equipment.


Schedule:

  • Monday–Friday
  • Start time: Approximately 7:00 AM
  • End time: Until route/load is completed
  • Home daily except when covering as a relief driver (approximately 25% OTR)
  • Job location: Tempe, AZ


Compensation:

  • Salaried position: $65,000–$80,000 annually
  • Salary based on years of hazardous materials driving experience


Responsibilities:

  • Local LTL deliveries with multiple stops per day
  • Touch freight with liftgate deliveries
  • Operate a mixed fleet of automatic transmission trucks with trailers up to 53’


Requirements:

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Minimum 1 year of hazardous materials driving experience (required)
  • Hazmat endorsement
  • Forklift experience
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
  • Clean background Must be able to pass an extensive background investigation to gain access to defense contractor facilities
