Job description

Responsible for assisting Leads in setting up lines and filling in for various positions as assigned by the Supervisor.
  1. Assists Leadperson in setting up lines, as needed.
  2. Fills in for various positions, as assigned by the Supervisor and/or Leadperson.
  3. Must have knowledge of the Depal Machine operation.
  4. Must be able to operate a forklift and an electric pallet jack.
  5. Must be able to function in a laborer capacity for ingredient handling and container handling.
  6. Must be able to perform the duties of a Closing Machine Operator.
  7. Must be able to perform the duties of a Sauce Cook (prepare brines).
  8. Must be able to prepare concentrate and understand the bean soaking procedures and operate at least one processing vessel.
  9. Responsible for heavy lifting.
  10. Reports any mechanical and/or safety issues to Supervisor and/or Leadperson immediately.
  11. Keeps work area clean and in accordance with good housekeeping practices.
  12. Adheres to common safety practices and procedures including the wearing of protective equipment and clothing.
  13. Adheres to the Company's plant hygiene standards to ensure high product integrity.
  14. Responsible for the execution of food safety, legality and quality policies and procedures within the scope of the job responsibilities such as but not limited to: GMP's, HACCP, safety, product quality, food security, plant security, etc.
  15. Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor and/or Leadperson.
