Job description

The HRIS Developer will play a vital role in developing, maintaining, and enhancing the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to ensure it meets the organization's needs. This role involves working closely with HR and IT teams to optimize system performance and implement new functionalities.

Design, develop, and implement HRIS solutions to streamline HR processes and improve data management.

Collaborate with HR stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into system specifications.

Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure system integrity and performance.

Maintain and update HRIS documentation, including user guides and technical specifications.

Provide training and support to HR staff on how to effectively use the HRIS.

Stay up-to-date with HRIS trends and technology advancements to recommend enhancements.

Work with external vendors to manage software updates and upgrades.

Requirements

Active Secret clearance is required.

U.S. citizenship with no dual citizenship due to agency and contract requirements.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Human Resources, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in HRIS development and administration.

Proficiency in HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, ADP) and SQL.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with HR and IT teams.

Experience with data reporting and analytics is a plus.
