## HRIS ConsultantApplylocations: Carmel, INtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R-010945The HRIS Consultant is an essential role in leveraging best in class technologies to drive HR’s strategic initiatives. The HRIS Consultant will collaborate with various departments to implement/enhance HRIS processes and functionalities, act as a liaison between users, management, and vendors on HRIS system issues and projects. This could include system design and system configuration, along with operational or functional issues.**Job Duties and Responsibilities:**Workday Maintenance and System Support (60%):* Serve as subject matter expert for Workday across all modules including Core HCM, Absence, Advance Compensation, Learning, Payroll, Recruitment, Reporting, Time, and Talent Management.* System configuration, updating and enhancing business processes by partnering with cross-functional teams to help to troubleshoot issues, implement improvements while ensuring data quality.* Take a consultative approach when working with cross functional teams to create requirements documents for system changes with full understanding of impacts. When possible, encourage and empower those teams to find solutions and create internal documentation/processes while providing guidance, support and knowledge transfer as needed.* Manage HCM integrations and make changes when required by the business. Serve as liaison between vendors and/or internal customers to identify requirements and make system changes to processes.* Develop, review, and update system documentation in the event of changes or new implementation.* Play a key role in managing the scheduled Workday Releases, including reviewing new features, facilitating testing, documentation, configuration, and developing communication materials when necessary.* Development of testing plans and test cases for large implementations.* Create dashboards and report templates for various end users, including HR team and leadership.* Oversee Workday system security including the creation of new roles and security groups as needed. Configure and maintain domain security policies and business process policies in Workday.* Build and maintain existing integrations; proficient knowledge of inbound and outbound EIB’s and Cloud Connect integrations.* Comply with applicable legal requirements, standards, policies and procedures including, but not limited to the internal compliance, Code of Conduct, HIPAA and documentation standards.* Support the accuracy and integrity of data by supporting risk and audit activities, security assessments, and access reviews. Ensure data integrity and privacy compliance for domains supported.* Resource for lesser experienced team members; providing informal guidance to solve the most complex, non-routine problems.System Enhancements and Optimization (40%):* Collaborate with HR team Functional Leads, HR Leadership, and HR Technology team to understand system end-user needs, evaluate processes and identify opportunities for automation in all functional areas on a consistent basis.* Act as a change agent and advocate for Workday, focusing on the enhancement of manager and employee self-service capabilities to drive system adoption and promote strategic use, thereby improving overall efficiency and user experience.* Stay updated on Workday releases/functionality, assessing relevance for our business needs. Monitor technology trends in HRIS and leverage vendor relationships and user communities to maintain and expand knowledge base and enhance capabilities of HR systems.* Provide assessment and impact analysis of Workday feature releases.* Lead optimization projects to help business users and HR functions to realize full potential of Workday.* Assist with development of Workday product roadmap, aligning product capabilities with business objectives.* Research and recommend improvements to the existing system, prioritize backlog configurations, and recommend new tools or software programs to streamline processes while enhancing the end-user experience and enabling business.**Qualifications (Education, Experience, Certifications & KSA):*** Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Human Resources, or an equivalent combination of education and directly related work experience required.* 5+ years of directly related work experience required.* A minimum of 5 years of Human Resources experience required.* A minimum of 2 years consulting experience required.* A minimum of 2 years hands-on Workday experience required.* Workday Pro Certification preferred.* Experience in system life-cycle phase, requirements, analysis, design, testing, implementing, deployment, and system upgrade.* In-depth understanding of HR domain and workflows.* Ability to effectively present technical and functional information in a manner that is understandable to all levels of the organization.* Flexible and adaptive to change.* Experience in system life-cycle phase, requirements, analysis, design, testing, implementation, deployment, and system upgrade.* Project management experience with demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize.* Ability to take ownership of tasks and use initiatives to solve problems, exercising an appropriate level of judgment.* Ability to work independently and cross-functionally as part of a wider team.* Ability to think outside the box.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.* Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Word and Excel.* Advanced analytical skills including excellent problem-solving skills with an understanding of core HR business practices (HRIS, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, HR Shared Services)* Advanced knowledge of reporting tool usage.
