As a GSE Mechanic, your daily responsibilities include inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of airport ground support equipment such as tugs, baggage carts, and deicing trucks. You may also be tasked with routine preventative maintenance, troubleshooting electrical and hydraulic systems, and performing safety checks to ensure equipment reliability. Collaboration with other mechanics and airport operations teams is common, as quick turnaround and equipment readiness are critical for smooth airport operations. This role often involves working both indoors and outdoors, sometimes in varying weather conditions, and may require shift work depending on airport schedules.
