Key ResponsibilitiesSales Leadership & Coaching
  • Lead, mentor, and actively coach a high-performing team of 10–20+ sales representatives across multiple domestic territories.
  • Establish clear sales goals, performance metrics, and strict accountability standards.
  • Drive a collaborative, consultative, and customer-focused sales culture that thrives on achieving targets.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, providing ongoing tactical mentorship and actionable feedback.
Business Development & Market Expansion
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to aggressively grow revenue channels across K-12 and higher education markets.
  • Identify emerging market opportunities, new customer segments, and untapped revenue channels.
  • Build and maintain high-level relationships with school administrators, educators, distributors, and key decision-makers.
  • Oversee comprehensive territory planning, revenue forecasting, and KPI tracking utilizing high-level Excel proficiency and sales analytics tools.
Product Launch & Enablement
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing and Product Development teams to ensure powerful product launches.
  • Equip the sales team with the necessary tools, messaging, and training to effectively pitch educational solutions and publishing products to institutional clients.
Position RequirementsMust-Have Experience
  • 10+ years of total professional experience, featuring 8–15+ years of dedicated B2B sales experience.
  • Industry Background: Strong preference for candidates who have sold directly into K–12 education, higher education, government, SaaS/EdTech, educational products, publishing, or highly consultative B2B markets.
  • Leadership Scope: Documented experience managing teams of 10–20+ sales professionals distributed across multiple territories.
  • Technical & Analytics Skill: High proficiency in Excel for tracking sales analytics, pipeline metrics, and territory forecasting.
Location Requirement
  • Local Candidates Only: Candidates must currently reside in or be willing to immediately work primarily onsite at our headquarters in the Lafayette/West Lafayette, Indiana area. Remote work arrangements are not available for this role.
