Job description

Job Summary:
The Account Executive, Premium & Group Sales, is responsible for generating new revenue through the sale of premium seating, luxury hospitality, group experiences, and other ticket-related products at T-Mobile Center. This position proactively develops new business opportunities, builds lasting client relationships, and delivers exceptional customer experiences while consistently achieving individual sales goals.
Working closely with Premium Services, Ticket Operations, Partnership Activation, Marketing, and Event Management, the Account Executive manages the complete sales process from prospecting through account servicing to maximize revenue and client retention.
Essential Duties:
Sales & Business Development
  • Generate new business through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, cold calling, email campaigns, and in-person sales meetings.
  • Identify and develop new premium seating, hospitality, and group sales opportunities throughout the Kansas City market.
  • Execute sales presentations, venue tours, and client meetings designed to communicate the value of T-Mobile Center premium and group experiences.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed established sales goals and revenue objectives.
  • Maintain an active pipeline of qualified prospects and effectively manage opportunities through the sales cycle.

Account Management & Client Relations
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with corporate clients, community organizations, event organizers, and individual customers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process and after the sale to promote client satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries, requests, and service issues while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships through additional products and services.

Sales Administration
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity, client communications, appointments, pipeline activity, and forecasting within the department's CRM system.
  • Prepare sales proposals, agreements, contracts, and related documentation.
  • Maintain accurate account information and sales reports.
  • Ensure timely completion of required administrative tasks sutime-management skills,pporting departmental sales objectives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Premium Services, Ticket Operations, Partnership Activation, Marketing, Finance, and Event Management to ensure an exceptional client experience.
  • Coordinate with internal departments regarding inventory availability, event logistics, and premium hospitality offerings.
  • Support departmental sales campaigns, promotions, special events, and community outreach initiatives.
  • Represent T-Mobile Center professionally at networking events, client functions, and community activities.

Professional Development
  • Remain knowledgeable about venue offerings, premium products, upcoming events, industry trends, and competitive entertainment offerings.
  • Participate in sales training, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • One to three years of experience in sales, business development, account management, ticket sales, hospitality sales, or customer relationship management.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals and performance expectations.
  • Strong prospecting, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
  • Self-motivated with a competitive, results-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative sales team.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and events as business needs require.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing or related field.
  • Minimum 1-year experience of direct sales or client account management.
  • Premium Seating product selling experience
  • Established business contacts within the Kansas City metro area.
