Job Title: Benefits Analyst (Contract)

Industry: Employee Benefits / Insurance / Human Resources

Location: Remote (Candidates located in DFW or able to work Central Time preferred)

Assignment Type: 6+ Month Contract

Pay: $29.00–$33.65 per hour

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CST

Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Our client is a well-established organization specializing in employee benefits and insurance solutions. They are seeking a detail-oriented Benefits Analyst to support the creation, review, and maintenance of employee benefits documentation while partnering with internal teams to deliver accurate, high-quality client materials.

Job Description:

The Benefits Analyst will play an essential role in reviewing employee benefit plans, organizing project documentation, and ensuring benefit information is accurately reflected across client-facing materials. This position requires excellent analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with project teams to understand benefit plan updates and project requirements.
  • Review benefit plan documents and supporting materials to ensure accurate interpretation of coverage details.
  • Transfer and organize information into standardized benefit templates and project documentation.
  • Prepare materials for new client implementations by customizing documentation based on project needs.
  • Conduct thorough quality reviews to verify accuracy, consistency, and completeness before final delivery.
  • Maintain documentation standards and formatting across all benefit-related materials.
  • Communicate project progress and outstanding information needs with internal stakeholders.
  • Track projects through completion to ensure all requested updates have been incorporated correctly.
  • Organize and maintain shared content libraries and project files.
  • Effectively prioritize multiple assignments while meeting established deadlines.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows and contribute to ongoing process enhancements.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience working with employee benefits, preferably within healthcare or group benefits.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze benefit plan documentation, including SBCs, SPDs, and benefits summaries.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing accurate work.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
  • Comfortable learning new software and working with project management tools.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
