What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Group Air Agent, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Group Air Agent, you need strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience with airline booking and ticketing, often supported by a background in travel or hospitality. Proficiency in global distribution systems (GDS) such as Sabre or Amadeus and familiarity with fare rules and group contracts are typically required. Excellent customer service, problem-solving abilities, and clear communication help manage client expectations and resolve issues effectively. These skills are crucial for ensuring seamless travel arrangements, client satisfaction, and efficient handling of group bookings.

What are Group Air Agents?
