You Will

  • Guide inbound and outbound airplanes to and from gates โ€” gaining precision and situational awareness that builds the foundation for future leadership roles.
  • Lift, load, unload, and transport passenger bags and cargo to and from aircraft, carts, dollies, and conveyors โ€” mastering ramp logistics and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
  • Drive and/or operate ground support equipment such as tow tractors, belt loaders, and baggage tugs โ€” building technical proficiency valued across all airport operations functions.
  • Maintain safety and security on the ramp by following dnataโ€™s award-winning safety procedures โ€” developing skills in compliance and operational safety.
  • Communicate efficiently with ground personnel and flight crews โ€” strengthening vital coordination and communication skills.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments โ€” gaining cross-functional exposure to cargo, passenger service, and operations control, preparing you for diverse career paths within dnata.
  • Follow all federal, state, airport, and company regulations and procedures โ€” building a foundation of regulatory knowledge essential for future roles.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including opportunities to cross-train in related functions (e.g., cabin cleaning, cargo handling, or passenger services), broadening your experience and advancing your aviation career.
  • Engage in physical activity, including standing, lifting, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling, for extended periods of time.
  • Safely handle up to 70 pounds regularly and ascend/descend jetway stairs while carrying baggage.
  • Work outdoors in all types of weather and around active aircraft and machinery.
  • As you gain experience and complete cross-training, youโ€™ll have the opportunity to progress into positions such as Lead Agent, Trainer, or Operations Supervisor โ€” or expand your career into dnataโ€™s cargo, passenger service, or flight operations divisions. Many of our leaders began right here on the ramp.

You Have

  • A valid state driverโ€™s license and the ability to obtain FAA/Airport-required authorizations.
  • The ability to pass SIDA airport clearance and all required training tests.
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Basic computer literacy and a willingness to learn new systems and equipment.
  • Reliability, teamwork, and a desire to take on new challenges while building your future in aviation.
