Job description

The Graphics Engineer Senior Web Developer oversees all aspects of web design projects, including leading creative direction, managing project timelines, collaborating with other developers, ensuring user experience, and maintaining brand consistency across a website for the US Army.


· Utilizes knowledge of operating systems such as UNIX, Windows NT, TCP/IP.

· Provides support to other developers responsible for ongoing day-to-day operations and maintenance of the website, including maintaining system security, modifying configuration settings, and backing up the system.

· Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey design ideas. Awareness of accessibility guidelines and best practices for web design

· Responsible for bi-annual major design updates to website, including incorporation of 3d models and other interactive technology.

· Lead the creation and execution of compelling visual concepts and creative strategies across print, digital, and motion media, ensuring adherence to brand standards and organizational objectives.

· Develop and oversee the production of print graphics integrated with high-end motion video and animation projects, ensuring seamless visual storytelling

· Independently design and produce strategic and executive-level communication materials supporting senior leaders, incorporating clear and impactful messaging.

· Direct the development of storyboards, scripts, and creative planning documents to guide multimedia and video production teams.

· Create and provide illustrations, drawings, and other print artwork

· Provide photographs, charts, diagrams, maps, slides, overlays, and other kinds of visual material for use in communicating information

· Coordinate and lead conference graphic support, including planning, development, and placement of printed materials, signage, exhibits, and other event visuals in collaboration with event planners and stakeholders.

· Manage technical graphic design deliverables related to industrial design, architecture, drafting, and environmental branding, ensuring accuracy and quality control.

· Lead budget development and cost management for graphic production and environmental branding initiatives; serve as the primary liaison with vendors, subcontractors, and consultants for graphic-related services. Provide expert review and quality assurance for all graphic outputs, maintaining compliance with Army and CPE IEW&S branding and technical standards.

· Provide backup support to web design, development, and maintenance.


Required:

· Bachelor's Degree - Computer Science, Software Development, Graphic Design, Computer Information Systems, Web Design.

· A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience with demonstrated knowledge in conceptualization, layout, typography, photography, illustration, Web Design and animation, production, and prepress work with two (5) or more years of professional Web development/coding experience in: Photoshop, Dreamweaver, PowerPoint & other design tools as well as HTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML.

· Associate's degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Graphic Design, Computer Information Systems, Web Design, and a minimum of seven (12) years of experience in the field of Computer Science, Software Development, Graphic Design, Computer Information Systems, Web Design.

· Possess advanced technical skills in responsive design, wireframing, and visual design to create effective and user-friendly websites. Responsible for bi-annual major design updates to website, including incorporation of 3d models and other interactive technology.

· Strong understanding of user experience (UX) design methodologies. Excellent visual design skills and attention to detail.

· Proficiency in design software like Adobe Creative Suite and other web development programs.

· Knowledge of Photoshop, Dreamweaver, PowerPoint & other design tools as well as HTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, and XML.

· Proven experience developing compelling concepts, ensuring brand consistency through hands-on design work, providing creative direction, and contributing to strategic decisions to deliver high-quality visual solutions across various media platforms.

Salary Range: $155,000 - $173,000

The above salary range represents a general guidline. Integral Federal considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. 

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and/or discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay.
