Job description


IMKO And our Client company are recruiting a Graphic Designer. In this role, the designer will conceptualize, design, and prepare visual artwork specifically for printed apparel. The position requires balancing creativity with technical prepress skills to translate market trends and client briefs into compelling visuals suitable for various garment types, fabrics, and printing methods. Graphic Designer Responsibilities are, however, not limited to:
  1. Creating/replicating designs for t-shirts and other apparel
  2. Drawing/Illustration skills a plus
  3. Performing color separations, and outputting films for production.
  4. Updating the work-order database
  5. Working with a large format printer (Roland)
The ideal Graphic Designer candidate should possess the following qualities:
  1. Working with customers provided artwork to adapt/modify the artwork for optimal screen-printing results.
  2. Experience working with graphic design software (Illustrator, Corel)
  3. A very detail-oriented approach as the position involves dealing with the complexity of customer work-orders and demands a high level of accuracy when separating and outputting artwork.
  4. Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  5. Exceptional decision making and problem-solving abilities. The starting hourly pay rate will be commensurate with the candidate's prior work experience and demonstrated aptitude.
  6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
