 Houseman-Valet/Cleaning/Light Maintenance- Hotel (Pavilion Grand Hotel- Saratoga)

Prime Companies is opening a new luxury boutique hotel concept, Pavilion Grand Hotel. Pavilion Grand is located in downtown Saratoga Springs and will feature 48 suite accommodations as well as a full service local restaurant and a healthy living concept boutique spa. We are currently seeking individuals to join this exciting hotel team.
Job Description:
Interact with guests upon arrival, park and retrieve guest's vehicle upon request. Cleans and maintains the hotel lobby and other public areas throughout the property, while meeting established standards of cleanliness and propriety to assure guest satisfaction and maximize revenues. 
Responsibilities: 
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests` service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Identify and explain room features to guests.
Completes hotel room and building repairs such as replacing ceiling tiles, filters, light bulbs, 
Patching vinyl, and painting. Performs repairs on toilets, sinks, and other hotel property. 
Cleans and maintains the lobby and other public areas to ensure a safe and clean experience for hotel guests, associates and vendors. 
Cleans public restrooms and replenishes supplies. 
Vacuums and/or sweeps all floor surfaces. 
Polishes furniture, fixtures, and elevators. 
Picks up newspapers, glassware, trash, etc. from lobby and front of the hotel. 
Collect guest information, park car safely, log information regarding transactions, communicate with the front desk regarding all valet services.
Maintains a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times. 
Performs other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

Qualifications: 
Basic knowledge of general cleaning principles, use of cleaning products, and operation of standard cleaning equipment. 
Must have a valid driver's license. May require a commercial driver's license. 
Must have a clean driving record. 
Ability to communicate with public, hotel staff, and management in a professional manner. 
Knowledge of surrounding areas and local events. 
Ability to lift and carry heavy packages and luggage up to 75 lbs. 
Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, kneeling, and walking significant distances. 
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. 
Experience with general maintenance tools
